Todd’s Welfare Society was formed to rescue animals in distress and protect animals from abuse. The need for a rescue service was immense in Lahore as like in so many other cities in Pakistan there are no means of helping these street animals, no animal shelter or hospital, leaving sick, abandoned injured street animals to perish on the streets.
