Marty – A Burn Victim
Marty was just trying to survive on the streets when he became a victim of animal abuse when an evil person threw boiling hot water on him, leaving him with life-threatening injuries.
So scared was he then of humans, that even those who wanted to help Marty had a difficult time trying to capture him. After many unsuccessful attempts, we were finally able to bring him into the safety of our shelter. It took many months for Marty to heal both physically and mentally but he finally learned to smile again.
Today, Marty is free from any pain and misery. He now lives on a huge land, where he gets to run, play with water, and roll around to his heart’s desire. He is happy and no longer that once petrified dog that he used to be.
