Flying Dogs and Cats

Flying Dogs and Cats To forever Homes

Sometimes, we have to expand our horizons just a little bit if it means finding our rescues a forever home. Our rescues may not get lucky in getting adopted in Pakistan but we believe they deserve a fair chance at a home so we strive to find them just the right home even if that means they might have to put on a pair of wings and fly out of Pakistan.

Over the years we have partnered with organizations in the UK to fly out our dogs and land them homes. To date, we have sent 20+ rescues abroad, most of which reside comfortably and happily in their forever homes.

Aurora, Molly, Bucky, and Brownie, all long-term residents traveled to the UK where they were taken under the care of Dogbus Transporting Paws. This was extra special as Bucky and Brownie had been with us since 2016 and we had given up hope of them ever finding a home, but 2022 proved to be the year their luck changed for the better.

Additionally, we entered another partnership with a Canadian Nonprofit, Project Save Animals, to help find our rescues forever homes. Some of our lucky dogs included Elton, Marshall,  Floppy, Ivory, and Lexi who flew off to Toronto and found perfect homes where they are spoiled and so very loved. It gets better! Kia, a long term rescue who fell into our laps back in 2016 finally found a lap to call her home. She got her happy ever after and is smiling as wide as she ever could.

We continued to venture into different territories and expanded our Flying Dogs Program to include Cats! In 2022, we allowed our rescue cats to board flights to join their forever homes. Two lucky cats were Ping Pong and Sylvester. Both had been waiting for such a long time at the shelter with no luck. Today both are now settled into their homes and are surrounded by all the love and comfort that comes with a forever home.
