Lahore’s First Animal Sanctuary
Todd’s Welfare Sanctuary is the first of its kind to have been built in Lahore. It is currently home to over 100 animals all of whom have special needs or are deemed too sick or vulnerable to fend for themselves on the streets. All of these animals get to spend the rest of their natural lives surrounded by love, and comfort, and in the peacefulness of our safe place.
Our adorable dogs are elderly, survivors of dog culling or have mobility impairments all being looked after by our team or volunteers. We also have dogs that came to us as puppies and are waiting for their forever homes. All of these dogs get to live out their lives peacefully, getting massages and physiotherapy and lots and lots of love. You will find them lazing around in the shade, playing with their friends and with visitors, rewarding everyone with lots of wet kisses and hugs.

Many of our cat residents have undergone amputation surgery or are paralysed. Some have sadly lost their sight due to hit-and-run accidents or electrocutions but have all shown resilience and adapted well to sanctuary life. All our cats love life at the sanctuary as not only do they get thoroughly pampered but there is an endless supply of catnip and treats. All our lifetime residents depend upon your kindness and generosity to keep them safe and loved.
